Wiley House Sees 35% Increase In Usage In 2012

After recording 2,145 bednights in 2011, Wiley House, the emergency overnight shelter for adult men and women, saw a 35% increase in usage with a total of 2,892 bednights.  The nightly average of individuals went from six in 2011 to eight in 2012.  The Wiley House served a total of 91 individuals last year—53 men and 38 women.  This compares to 68 individuals in 2011—43 men and 25 women.

Along with nightly shelter, Our House provided guests with food, laundry service, transportation, toiletry items, and assistance with acquiring identity documents (birth certificates and photo IDs).
